In particular, it emerges that forecasts for Italians' vacations during this summer of 2019 showed a slight increase (0.3%) compared to the same period in 2018. 84% are travelers who chose to stay in Italy and the favorite destination is confirmed to be the sea, in second place followed by art cities (and cultural vacations).
“This data induces us to want to look at the best, without underestimating anything. Of course, the crisis continues to be felt, forcing Italians to reduce their spending. Moreover, about 20 million compatriots will not go on vacation between June and September, mainly for economic reasons. But among them there is an 18 percent who intend to leave at another time of the year, which seems to bring out an interesting change from the ordinary choice”.

Favorite facilities? Hotels, chosen by 27% of travelers.
The picture that emerges is as follows: Italians love their country and choose it for their vacation, on vacation they prefer rest and relaxation, whether they choose a seaside resort or a city of art and so on.
